Interview for Senior Manager Title at Morgan Stanley Fund Services Mumbai.
It took 3 months to complete the process. I went through 4 rounds of interviews. This was my second attempt for the same role.
1. Technical Product Knowledge
2. Higher Management - Product knowledge plus Managerial capabilities
3. With Global heads - Client management
4. VBA/Excel - Rejection came from here.
The weird part the HR as well as the Interview Panel kept asking if I am applying anywhere else or do I have any offer. As far as my understanding I did exceptionally well in first 3 rounds. But their decision was completely driven by Excel/VBA round.
My Feedback for the employer
If VBA/Excel round is so important then it should be carried out first rather than last
Hiring process should not be dragged for 3 months. Candidate should not go through this lengthy uncertainties.
