I applied through a posting through my school and filled out a brief questionnaire application. I was contacted within a few days after sending in my application. I was then sent a very lengthy application (written) on a late Friday afternoon. You were expected to complete this very research oriented application in 5 days (including the weekend). Once I sent this second application they took not even 24 hours to review it and denied me the position. I never got to speak to someone in person or over the phone. The application was extremely time consuming and intensive for an entry level position.

Interview
Been a MB reader and fan for years and this experience was not what I would have expected from them. Interviewer was 20 mins late and rushed off the call. Third question I was asked was salary expectation and was told they needed a number because they filter people out that way (IMO this shouldn’t be so important in the beginning before someone has the chance to meet everyone and understand the opportunity more). Overall, interviewer seemed like they didn’t want to be on the call. For someone who put a lot of time into my app and interview prep, definitely disappointing.
