I applied on a major tech site and was contacted about a first round phone interview. That consisted of typical developer position questions that I would know (I am graduating with my Software Engineering degree, so it was entry level stuff) Then shortly after the first round interview (about two days) I was contacted for a second round interview with a Chief Engineer who really didn't ask me anything technical, but was asking me more what my ideal work environment would be. Finally I had an on site interview where I met the for mentioned chief engineer and a few other people on his team, one of which asked me a few more technical questions. They also showed me every step of the project and gave me some more information about the company.
