The interview went well overall. It started with a warm welcome and introductions, which helped set a positive and professional tone. The interviewer(s) asked a range of questions about my experience, particularly focusing on my previous roles, relevant skills, and how I handled specific challenges in the past. I used the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure my answers, which seemed to resonate well with them.
We discussed the key responsibilities of the role, and I had the opportunity to ask questions about the team, company culture, and progression opportunities. The interviewer responded openly, giving me a good impression of the working environment and expectations.
There were also a few scenario-based questions, where I was asked how I would handle certain situations related to customer service, prioritisation, and communication—especially in multilingual settings, which aligns with my background.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mott MacDonald (London, England)
Interview
A long interview (1 hour and 25 minutes), but there was only one round. The interviewing team was polite, timely, and warm. The interview included a presentation and thorough questioning afterwards on job experience and working style.
