I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Mount Sinai Health System (New York, NY) in May 2015
Interview
The process is a bit lengthy with interviews and drug testing etc. However they are responsive and try their best with Responding. I met with several people I would work for during the initial process.
Took numerous follow ups to receive response. Did not receive feedback. Not transparent process. Team seemed overworked / overcapacity. Online Portal goes nowhere, received a rejection the next day but an interview request after that.
Standard panel interview with five to six people with a mix of behavioural and scenario-based questions followed by asking own questions. One round of interviews only rather than multiple which was preferable.
There were 3 rounds of interviews, they asked basic questions. The final interview with the head of the department was the most difficult. They asked helpful questions, and made me excited to work for the health system. All interviews were in person. This took place before the pandemic.
