Of course, my references gave me a glowing recommendations. The manager continued to interview for another month. Why disrespect the time of other people and not make an offer? This screams entitlement and that the manager doesn’t know what they want. At that point if you don’t want to hire me, let me go. Instead, they strung me along for another four weeks and would have ghosted me if I didn’t continue to follow up. I had two other offers, but emailed to force the “no”.
