      Graduate Engineer Trainee Interview

      Apr 13, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Bengaluru
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Mu Sigma (Bengaluru) in Jan 2026

      Interview

My overall experience consisted of three structured rounds, each testing different aspects. The first round focused on aptitude and mathematical problem-solving along with a few programming questions, including one from Python (Pandas). It required both speed and clear thinking. The second round was an AI-based interview, which was a completely new experience for me. It deeply analyzed my resume almost every data-related point was questioned in detail. The AI didn’t just stop at my answers; it continuously asked follow-up questions based on my responses, which really tested how well I understood my own projects. This round made me realize that it’s not just about speaking well, but about having strong technical clarity and genuine understanding. The final round was an HR interview, but for me, it was a mix of technical and non-technical discussion. I was first asked to rate myself in Python and SQL, and the questions were tailored accordingly. It included guesstimates, basic business analytics concepts, and a few puzzles. Overall, the process was smooth, and the team was very supportive and responsive throughout. More than just an interview, it felt like a learning experience that improved both my thinking and approach. I would suggest future candidates focus on truly understanding their resume and projects, and be prepared to think through follow-up questions rather than just memorizing answers.
