      Decision Scientist Interview

      Dec 13, 2014
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mu Sigma in Nov 2014

      Interview

The recruitment was through the college campus placements.Around 450 students sat for the process. The recruitment process took 2 days.First day was only online aptitude exam and the result for the shortlisted candidates was announced the same eveningand around 150 were shortlisted. This was followed by a written pseudocode and a written case analysis exam and after this shortlisted candidates were announced. they were around 60. then came the GD and video synthesis round and candidates were reduced to 30. this was followed by HR interview, yes to my surprise also. I had read everywhere that Mu Sigma conducts a very logical technical round where your analytical skills are tested with guesstimates and case studies but to some reason(dont know why) it was omitted. In the HR round they asked me whether I had a girlfriend and what is she doing, why didn't she sit for Mu Sigma and where is she going to be posted and where am I brought up and what don't I like about Delhi. That was it and I was not selected. I was quite shocked because I was expecting to get an offer. I didn't expect from an experienced analytical company to judge a candidate on the basis of an HR interview and that too of this kind. In my opinion they should test a candidate's communication skills, analytical aptitude and his attitude towards the company's work and other skills if any and not on stupid questions.
