I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Mu Sigma
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter and an initial phone screen was scheduled within a day of my response. Basic review of resume and skills. As part of round 1 there is also a "video synthesis" which consisted of the CEO speaking about Mu Sigma's values and competencies. I had 30 minutes to write down the main points, 20 minutes of which was presentation. The CEO said that Mu Sigma is a combination of Google and McKinsey (I'll allow the reader to find the humor in that). The second phone interview was with an engagement manager and lasted about an hour. A challenging and informative interview - asked specific questions about my thought process in conjunction with SAS/R/Python. Both individuals with whom I spoke with were very formal and respectful. I didn't hear back for over a month (the only negative) and had already accepted a stronger offer during the interim. The entire process was about 6-7 weeks.

Question 1
A company is interested in determining how their products can compete against larger distributors.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mu Sigma (Richmond, VA) in Aug 2019
Interview
Completely waste of time. They took 4 rounds of interviews and tokd me that I am not good at Python so they are rejecting me. The people who where taking my interview where very ignorant and didn’t even bother listening to my answers. They offered me very low salary. So declined. Also, I heard from their employees that work atmosphere is stressful and team leads are very rude to associates.
I am happy that I am not going to be part of all this.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mu Sigma (Austin, TX) in Apr 2019
Interview
First interview long conversational and face to face in the office. Second one to crack a case remotely. Third to talk with HR remotely. Fourth to talk with HR about the conditions remotely.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Mu Sigma (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2019
Interview
They asked a few questions and explained the role. They were very intensive on how my past experiences can translate to the current role. I had examples ready to the interview went well for me. I would recommend being ready to explain what value you can add to the company.
