I was contacted by a recruiter. Very quickly, I interviewed with the medical director. He was fairly straightforward and asked clear questions. He seemed genuinely interested in the questions asked. He was honest about some of the problems that doctors have had with MC and that they collectively bargain now. After this, about a week later, I interviewed with a manager at a small site. SHe did not have my CV and seemed angry that she did not have it. She seemed preoccupied and I never felt like she was present. I've heard through the grapevine that it's been "uncomfortable" between the managers and providers since the union started for the providers. I then went to a very weird interview at another clinic that was late, I was the first person at the building. I got the impression that no one wanted to talk about the elephant in the room, WHY the providers felt the need to organize and why the managers are antagonistic toward providers interviewing?
