They had a very simple request around going to zoom.com and talking through different segmentation suggestions for the client.
Their ask made sense, but I view enterprise segmentation and personalization through a very different lens. I wanted to talk with more granularity but they were hyper focused on just going to a website and pulling hypothetical segments.
It felt like they wanted a specific answer and it wasn't at all a collaborative or open process. We ended the interview early as it became apparent that we fundamentally disagreed on how to approach experimentation and segmentation in the B2B space.
No hard feelings and don't think it was a bad interview process, we just didn't align on any subject matter and it wasn't a good fit.
