I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MyEyeDr. (Pompano Beach, FL) in Nov 2021
Interview
Was contacted via email by Pamela, the recruiter for this position, and we set up an initial phone interview to discuss the the General Manger role and to go over my resume. One of the first questions she asked was what were my salary expectations for the position. After I answered her she mentioned that she wanted to be very transparent and that the GM role salary was below my expectations. She also glanced over my resume and mentioned that I had multi-unit management experience and that a District Manager role might be better able to meet my salary expectations. She was unsure if there were any immediate DM positions available but she knew that due to their growth, she was certain that there would be an opening in the near future. She asked if she would be able to forward my resume to the Regional Manager for my area so that it could be reviewed for the DM role once one opened up. I was very appreciative for her transparency and agreed. We then continued speaking about my background and just really enjoyed our conversation. Pamela was very upbeat and positive about MyEyeDr and their growth and her enthusiasm was very contagious. Thank you Pamela and I look forward to speaking with you guys in the near future.

Question 1
Just general interview questions on how I would handle different scenarios.
Long, it took 4 interviews and 2 months before an offer was extended. Once extended the on boarding was quick and everything was explained thoroughly. Training began the following week.
First teams interview with hr/recruiter went very well she said they were trying to do the process quickly and would schedule with their DM soon. Reached out a few days later and we set the second teams interview for Tuesday at 2pm, at 1:50 I got an email asking to reschedule. No problem, we set it for the next day Wednesday at 2pm again. However nobody showed up for the interview, no email, no reschedule, radio silence for 2 weeks. Not only unprofessional and disrespectful of my time but confusing to schedule the second interview if you were no longer hiring. Disappointed, really wanted to work with this company
