Recruiter reached out to me. Had initial phone screening interview and she recommended me for the next step. Zoom interview with attorney that candidate would be working with - she was very enthusiastic about my background, training and experience. She even asked when I could start - which I thought was a little misleading. 2nd Zoom interview with GC. That went well also - he liked my approach for ideas, etc. Follow up emails with recruiter and asked additional questions about company and role. They said they would let me know in about 2 weeks but feel free to contact them - which I did. I was told they had not made a decision yet due to budgeting issues and asked me to check back in a week or two. I followed up again and had to pull out of recruiter that I wasn't selected. Thought the whole process was extremely unprofessional and a waste of time, especially when they originally reached out to me about the position.
