Applied online took 3 month to contact me by recruiter everything was professional over the phone and at Pasadena campus ... They escort me to the building where hiring manager was; I interview with her everything went ok normal questions back and fourth ...But I know that they were not interested and they just want to do the play with recruiter and company policy to interview some one from outside and turn on either promote with in or hire somebody they know. So if you have no internal connection don't even bother applying it is waste of time ... I talked to many x JPL & caltech employees and they all agree on this. You need a highly recommendation from inside the organization to be hired. I was picked for the interview "play" because I have 5 years aerospace experience & I know Oracle financial so they can show HR that they interview several individuals with in job description and they will picked the one who was recommended to hiring manager or they know. And this apply to both caltech and JPL... You need to stop wasting people time and effort and play it a fair game for everybody.
