It was a slow process but others have different situations. For me, I applied on September 13th, went to my school's career fair and talked with a recruiter, followed up with the recruiter on October 24th, heard from a manager on November 15th to set up for an interview, finalized interview date with another manager on November 17th to have the interview on November 23rd.
Had the interview; I thought it went okay and the manager said I should followup if I didn't hear back in 10 business days. I waited a bit longer considering 1) It was thanksgiving right after I interviewed so I doubt they spent any time evaluating then and 2) I waited till my professor sent his recommendation letter to both managers before contacting the one I interviewed with again on December 2nd.
On Decemeber 7th, an actual recruiting employee contacted me to fill out an eligibility form. She said that this was a preliminary check before officially extending an offer. The recruiter confirmed my information on December 12th and I waited until December 21st before actually receiving the official offer letter, which I accepted immediately over the phone.
