Within two weeks of applying for the position a recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screening. She told me on the phone that she was going to pass me onto the next round and asked me to email her my availability to chat with the hiring manager. She replied and said I'd actually be interviewing with a woman in another department that worked closely with the team I was interviewing for. The woman didn't seem interested in interviewing me and even stopped me to say she received a message that there was a work emergency and had to go. After two weeks I heard nothing so reached back out to the recruiter. She said I was still in the running, they're just working through some stuff on their end and to be patient. Another three weeks pass and I reach back out to the recruiter. She informs me that due to Covid the position has been put on pause. The position was reposted in the fall so I reached back out and was told, "If the hiring manager wants to continue the process, I'll reach out." The job is still posted and frequently updated. It was nice of the recruiter to reply to all of my emails instead of completely ghosting me.
