The interview process was long and arduous. I was submitted through an external agency in mid-January 2021. The initial conversation with HR went fine. I was scheduled to speak with the hiring manager. It took them about a month to setup a call with the hiring manager.
After speaking with the hiring manager, they wanted me to move to the next round of interviews. It took me a lot of back and forth with the HR rep to get these interviews setup.
The HR rep was finally able to setup these 4 interviews around end of March 2021. I spoke with 4 different people, about an hour with each of them. 2 of these were hiring mangers hiring for a role within their organization. The other 2 were people who would interact with the individual who would fill the role.
There was absolutely no word back from Nike after these 4 interviews. I reached out repeatedly to the hiring mangers and the HR rep to get feedback and status of my candidacy. Eventually the HR rep sent out a cookie cutter message about rejecting my candidacy.
After investing months in this interview process and spending hours talking to the hiring staff, the least Nike could have done was to let me know why I was passed up, especially since I was one of the finalists and they were looking for someone who had experience with Blue Yonder systems.
The whole process was utterly disappointing.
