Senior Recruiter - Global Human Resources Interview

      Mar 14, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NIKE (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2022

      Interview

30 minute interview, for which the interviewer called late. The first 10 minutes was spent learning more about the role (structure, team composition, expectations, etc.). About 15 minutes was spent answering questions about my experience/background and style. The last few minutes were left to allow for one question. The interviewer was either tired (burnt out?) or was unhappy about his own place with the company. It showed. No enthusiasm whatsoever. I felt rushed, almost got the feeling that he felt "put out" by our conversation (or was multi-tasking). I'm not disappointed that I didn't get the call-back as I had some serious concerns about Nike's human rights record in the areas of labor practices in impoverished nations.
