I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at NTT DATA (Hyderābād) in Feb 2013
Interview
NTT Data shortlisted us from an employability test by Aspiring Minds (AMCAT)...about 850 students were given the opportunity to attend the recruitment process.
Recruitment process:
1. Group Discussion:
We were divided into a number of groups consisting of about 15 people and were given a topic on which we were supposed to discuss for about 20 minutes........from each group about 5 people got through to the technical interview. Those who don't speak or take initiative have less chances of getting through GD round.
2.Technical Interview:
Some of the Technical Interviewers asked technically related questions (related to the branch you are in) and some others simply tested the learning ability and problem solving abilities by asking puzzles and problems.....Each Technical interview lasted about 20 to 30 minutes
3.HR Round:
The most important question they ask here is if we are ready to work night shifts and be deployed anywhere in the country.....
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Are you willing to work on obsolete and outdated technologies like Fortran etc
The interview was a genuinely positive experience. The interviewer was approachable and created a comfortable atmosphere right from the start, which helped ease any nervousness. The questions were well-structured and relevant to the role, giving me a fair chance to showcase my skills and experience. I also appreciated the clear communication about the process and next steps, which made the overall experience feel transparent and professional
