      Deep Learning Software Engineer Interview

      Feb 10, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2021

      Interview

Phone screen. The interviewer was not interested at all. I got a leetcode hard question. Initially, went a bit wrong way with 2d DP, then in few minutes corrected myself and revised the solution. However, the interviewer would not listen to it, since he only knew how to solve using greedy approach. Constantly tried to push me into his way of thinking, not considering my solution. At the end I arrived at a correct solution, which I feel like he didn't get (I checked on leetcode for correctness, and it passed, and even in "solutions" tab it was one of possible options). At the end, I didn't pass. Very low quality interviewer and very negative feelings after.
