"Wannabe Big Tech" Pros - The brand name Cons I am writing this review from a combination of few different interview experiences at Nvidia (both mine and others that I know). Nvidia wants to be considered in the Big Tech league, hence tries to behave like them (talking, interviews etc). However once you go through the interview loop and talk to peers working at Nvidia you realize, there is a lot of "empty vessel" there. For people interested in autonomous driving, you are better off interviewing at one of the better companies like Cruise, Waymo etc. Specific to the interview - 1) Unstructured interviews. Fun fact - I was asked questions on the same topic in all of "8" rounds. Shows lack of preparation and experience in interviewing candidates. 2) Please learn how to interview senior engineers. You shouldn't be assigning junior engineers, ask in the box questions and expect memorized answers. 3) Lack of robust vision in autonomous driving. Highly demotivating managers (are they really managers ?)
