Contacted via cold call by a recruiter in New York. We had a lengthy conversation about an origination role with the mortgage arm of Ryan Homes. Completed an application. Had a follow-up phone interview with the recruiter. Met in-person with the managers in the branch. Had a weird online assessment to take. Received an offer about a week later.

It was not very informative. The person giving the interview did not know a lot about the position and wasn’t able to answer questions upon asking more about daily activities. It was kind of a turn off as this was the first person I spoke to at the company.

They just asked questions based off of resume and not off of actual scenarios or specifics.
Interview was fine. Staff was professional, crocs, and well-informed. The interview process moved as described in many of these and descriptions. I was, however, disappointed to discover that they did not have training available on site at the specified location. I was tasked with training for several months in another state before being placed at my primary location I applied for. I declined the job offer
