The interview process entailed a phone screen with an HR staff member and an interview with the deputy director of the department. Both interviews were straight forward and seemed to go well. I was told that the next interview would be in person in front of a panel. My requests for status updates were ignored. After interviewing a candidate twice, a courtesy rejection email would be appreciated. I found out I wasn't selected for a third round interview 5 weeks after my second interview by logging into the job portal and seeing that my application was no longer under consideration. Prior to that, I left a voicemail and an email to try to gauge whether they would be moving forward with my application.
