Called by recruiter. Met with three departmental managers. met with another recruiter. The third interviewer was the most inapt individual I have ever had to deal with. Because of her I turned down the interview. This was not the first time I had experienced a horrible time with NYU HR. Even after being offered positions, the recruiter vigorously attempted to make things difficult for me. Perhaps it was because I was a male. All my documents were constantly rejected. The process took weeks. My background an experience were questioned numerous times. Just the most disgusting illustration of competence. NYU needs to hire better recruiters who know what they are doing. They hire newbies who want to hire young minimally skilled candidates. They are not hiring based on years of experience.
