The process was pretty standard. I applied online, had a quick phone call with an HR person, and then multiple rounds of interviews. The actual process was fine, but their follow up was really bad. I ended up getting a job offer elsewhere a day after my third in person interview at NYU Press. I told the HR team that I had an offer pending and wanted to see if they were still interested in me. They never responded, and I found this to be very unprofessional considering I came to their offices on three different occasions for over an hour each time. I do not plan on applying to NYU Press again and I wouldn't recommend to colleagues.
