I applied to the Nakisa through Linkedin, around the beginning of 2020, before covid 19. Entering the interview process, and in the middle was told hiring was freezed due to the pandemic. Several months later, a recruiter contacted me saying the hiring opens again, good news, all my interview/meeting were with HR(February and Recent), never had any official interview with technical people. I was told by HR, they want people particularly working with Java for a long time. While, I cannot argue more, I have years of programming working experience but haven't use Java in work for a while. So HR said she didn't want to waste my time because of the Java thing. I didn't know this place that much before talking to the HR. I look at the glassdoor company review, pretty impressive. Montreal tech world is small, you always have a few friends working somewhere. After chatting with a few people, looks like glassdoor reivew is quite accurate. I wonder if all possitive review are from HR and new hiring. Thank you for not wasting my time.
