Hiring manager call first. Then on-site interview with the team. HR was not at all responsive! Extremely unprofessional experience. HR did not want to call back to clarify my issues which lead to miscommunication. I was initially, provided an offer letter, but then it was retracted from me because the company was not ready to take the expense of VISA sponsorship for this entry-level role. It is unfortunate that this happened at such a late stage when I had clearly disclosed to the hiring manager in my first interview that I was an international candidate. However, it could have been avoided if the HR could get on a call with me to understand my concerns during the negotiation.
