I had a bad experience interviewing with Natera a few months ago. Would advise anyone interviewing with this company to not ignore the scathing reviews posted on glassdoor by their own employees. Few things I would like to mention about my experience:
1. Very unorganized: I had more than 12 interviews/ discussions, including a written case assignment. During the process, I was considered for different positions. However, there was no explanation from team #1 about their decision to not hire me and refer me to team #2. After so many in-person interviews, the very least the hiring manager could have done is to call me and offer an explanation! Team #2 had no idea about the written case I had done earlier. Had the two teams exchanged notes they would have known about it.
2. Very unprofessional - They (i.e. team #2) made me an offer for a position I interviewed. After a few days of back and forth with salary negotiation, I was getting my background check done with their vendor when one fine evening someone from HR called and said that they have decided to revoke the offer. The reason offered was not very convincing and I felt like I have wasted so much of my time! But this was extremely unethical on their part!
I must say that I enjoyed my conversations with almost everyone in the team – people seemed to be nice and smart but collectively, they are very unorganized and unprofessional, which makes me think that they are not too happy themselves (not surprising based on glassdoor reviews)
