All online. Talked to HR, hiring manager, then had to talk to six other people. A few were nice, a few were distracted, probably working while interviewing me. I have never been in an academic job, but I feel that would have helped. I have worked in IVD for six years and felt I could have done the job easily, but they were interested in someone who could communicate results more effectively. I tried asking questions to one of the people, but they kept saying everything was confidential. I basically could not think of anything to talk about that would not be confidential. Honestly, the schedule of the interviews was too much. One interview per week for eight weeks. I would rather have a few full days of interviews to get the juices flowing and only have the nerves for a few days.
