      San Carlos, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Natera (San Carlos, CA) in Jan 2018

      Interview

Phone screen and then in-person interview. No technical questions and more focused on personality. Very casual setting with the supervisors and lab managers. Very typical interview questions such as why do you think you're good for the job, what skills do you bring, etc.

      Question 1

      What are your career goals?

      Interview

Didn't get interview confirmed by the hiring team until the day it was scheduled for, which is unprofessional and hard to account for. Asked standard questions, interviewer was late as well.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Natera (San Carlos, CA) in Feb 2023

      Interview

Simple 2-step interview. First interview is a phone interview with recruiter going over resume and seeing if you’re a good fit. If you pass that, you get an interview with supervisor, some or all leads, as well as maybe someone from the bench.

      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Natera (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2021

      Interview

Probably the most Bizarre interviewing process I have ever experienced. Started with the standard typical "get to know you" questions that could be answered via resume and eventually degressed to out of the blue nonsequiturs like "What kind of superpower would you want and why?" If the interviewing process is indicative of how the company operates and how employees are treated, I would advise potential candidates to stay away
