The interview went well except for a couple things... They started to talk about me while I was still sitting across the table from them. One of the interviewers had to tell him not to do this as that is rude. The recruiter also ghosted me, which is weird because I was told I could interview for other positions if I didn't land the more analytical segment. This is bad etiquette, it is disrespectful, and unprofessional. The least they can do is tell me I am not the right fit so I am not wasting my time trying to follow up when I am told I would hear back from them in 2 weeks. Besides this the interview went well, they asked about lab experiences, what I bring to the group, ability to train others and work in a team.

I was contacted first by the recruiter and later had an interview with the manager. Both were very responsive and answered any questions I had. Both were knowledgeable about the department.

Five minutes I applied, a recruiter asked me to fill out a questionnaire about my skills and experience and whether or not I was willing to accept a salary of $20.50-$22. After submitting, recruiter emailed me again to schedule an interview with the team. The interview was with two people a supervisor and manager (i think). They did not ask any technical questions. A lot of behavioral questions, what I want to see in a supervisor, and my career goals and why I want to work there. They emphasized that the work is like working in a factory and it’s always busy.

I had my interview over the phone. It lasted briefly for about 15 minutes. Afterwards they had me set up a date for a second interview over zoom. The initial interview felt more like a screening process for initial applicants rather than a traditional interview.
