Natera is one of the most disorganized and unprofessional companies I’ve encountered. The interview process was a mess. The hiring manager was rude, unprepared, and showed up 10 minutes late. She didn’t take the time to ask about my experience or why I was interested in the role. A major red flag was when she casually mentioned that senior positions are typically filled by internal candidates — why would you tell a candidate that? I was asked to complete an assessment that required significant research and referencing my clinical studies from university. After spending three days on it, I received no feedback until I followed up myself. Two weeks later, I was told they decided to go with another candidate, leaving me wondering why I was given false hope in the first place. This company completely wasted my time and failed to treat me with respect throughout the process. They seriously need to reevaluate and improve their recruitment process.
