I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Natera in Nov 2024
Interview
The interview process went well overall. It began with a phone call with the hiring manager, who was impressed and advanced me to a second interview with a regional director. That interview also went great, and they scheduled a ride-along with the Clinical Field Specialist (CFS). The ride-along was fantastic—we got along really well, and he even recommended me to the hiring manager as the top choice.
However, despite all the positive feedback, the final decision didn’t go in my favor. The hiring team ultimately chose another candidate due to their diagnostic experience. This was surprising since the ASR role is intended to be developmental, and I bring over 10 years of sales experience, including five years in medical devices and biologics. Both the recruiter and the CFS were confident I’d be selected, so the outcome caught everyone off guard.
