Smooth process. Met with recruiter, but was told the position was likely filled. Still had a pleasant conversation and may move forward at a later date. Overall it was a solid process.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Natera
Interview
I had a frustrating experience with Natera's interview process, particularly due to poor communication and follow-through from the recruiter, Toan. After a positive initial interview, I received an email saying I was moving on to the second round. Shortly after, I was told this was a mistake—that my profile hadn’t actually been submitted to the hiring manager yet.
A couple of days later, I received another message saying I had made it to the second round and was asked to submit my availability—but the scheduling link provided didn’t work. I reached out for clarification to understand whether I was truly advancing in the process or if this was still a result of the earlier error. I never received a response.
Instead, I got an automated rejection email the next day, with no explanation or accountability for the confusion.
The process felt disorganized and left me feeling like my time and candidacy weren't respected. I hope Natera improves its internal communication and candidate experience moving forward.
