I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at National Life Group
Interview
You're brought into a room with 3 or 4 people, and multiple parties watching you from a webcam in Vermont. Questions were pretty from the script - something you'd find when you google "interview questions".
None of the several parties on webcam or in the room introduced themselves, which I thought was pretty unprofessional. The people in the room stared at a computer and typed down what you said.
One thing I didn't like was that one of the women, when describing the company, acted like the position was a big deal, and a massive investment for them to make. They talked about the position with incredible prestige, and acted like they'd be doing me a favor to bring me on. This rubbed me the wrong way because the salary is typical for customer service in the area at 38k, and it's a typical 9 hour shift with a forced hour lunch and a micromanaged metrics life. I'd rather they just call a duck a duck
