Standard interview process: phone screen, onsite, reference check. Lovely interviews; I learned a lot abou NRG's business and was more excited about the opportunity after I spoke with the team onsite. The problem came after the interview process was completed. When my references were submitted, it took the hiring team more than a month to actually contact my references, and no information was offered as to any updates or following up during the entire process. I had to personally track down any information as to my candidacy, whcih did not speak positively to the efficiency or organization of their hiring process, which is ironic as the position I interviewed for would be to contribute in making that process more efficient in the first place.
