The team I met with was a lot of fun, and I felt the questions ranged in their complexity. The first interview was supposed to be the only one, and I sat in a room with the entire team and answered questions in a round. They decided to do a second interview, and I understood. I felt I was strong in the first, but likely a little unsure of myself. In the second interview, they split the team up in to two. The first group walked me through a generalized overview of their process and I asked questions, etc. The second group was a little more casual and we were able to get to know each other a little better. There's nothing I could say that's bad about the people I met as far as the department itself. I was, however, a little disappointed and surprised at the poor follow up to this interview. I felt the recruiter was a little evasive. I didn't hear from him for a while, and when it became clear that I likely did not get the position because it had been so long since I heard from anyone, I honestly thought he was just going to ghost me. I had to email him and ask him to please consider me moving forward and thank him again to prompt him to write back a quick email saying they'd gone with someone with more Intellectual Property experience. I felt he could have called me and I felt he could have been a little bit more transparent throughout the entire process. I felt that I gave them my time and full attention and care, and it wasn't necessarily returned in this particular situation.
