The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Navan (Half Moon Bay, CA)
Interview
The team was very professional, courteous, and agile. The process went quickly but it was comprehensive and thorough. I both answered and asked a lot of questions. I received transparent, helpful responses about the stage the company is in and the current construction of the team. I also appreciated the t-shirt, swag bag and my name written in the conference room I was in. Very nice, small touches that I have never experienced elsewhere for an interview. It implies thoughtful leadership and healthy work environment.

Question 1
Who’s the best performer on your team? What would they say about you?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Navan
Interview
I was invited by an internal recruiter to have a phone screen. At the end of the call, the recruiter said I was "definitely moving on to the next round." I passed on my resume and was told I would hear about next steps in 1-2 business days. Surprise, surprise - I never heard back, even after following up again.
This is a tough job market as it is. Please follow up with your candidates. This has left a really bad taste in my mouth when it comes to using Navan as a client in the future.

Question 1
How many people do you currently manage on your customer success team?
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Navan (London, England) in Jun 2024
Interview
Internal recruiter screening call first and then two seperate interviews with management. All went well and then I was ghosted no feedback. I saw online that both managers left the company shortly afterwards so maybe they were trying to do me a favour.

Question 1
Describe a difficult work situation and how did you overcome it?
Worst company ever! They don’t have a interview process and don’t even know what they want from a candidate. Culture would be even worse internally, don’t go for it!
I would recommend to stay away from recruiters since they have absolutely no idea of the job.
