I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Navy Federal Credit Union (Winchester, VA) in Jul 2016
Interview
Online I applied and got an email in regards to an online assessment which is a simulation of the job you're applying for (which took approx 45 min- could be sooner if you finish the calls before 45 min is over) then you have 2 over the phone interviews, which I thought I bombed.
Took about 3 weeks and I got a call for an interview. Set up an interview for the following week and the interview took about 45 min +. They were super laid back, honestly the best interview I had ever. Then the very next day I received a call to check my email to do background checks and social media checks as well as to pretty much be who you say you are. She said it takes a few weeks to hear back, so I got the email today as well as the phone call that my interview went well, so hopefully I'll hear soon.
Either way, it was a painless interview. Don't believe everything you read on here.

Describe a time when you had an angry customer, how did you help them?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Navy Federal Credit Union
Interview
The hiring process started with two online assessments, followed by a phone screening interview from one of the recruiters (The gap between these two events was almost a month). After completing those, I moved to an in-person interview with a panel of two people. The interviewers asked behavioral questions, taking detailed notes throughout the session. They mentioned that the timeline for a decision might "take too long". However, it has now been over a month since my interview without any further communication. Despite my portal status still showing as 'Interviewing,' I haven't received a call or email update. While the initial stages were well-organized, the lack of follow-through after the in-person stage is kind of worrisome.
It was a group interview with two supervisors and a team lead, mostly interacted with hr dept. hr specialist fumbled entire process including pay and location I was to be working.

it was overall a standard interview process. nothing too extreme, they were friendly during the interview. received the offer not too long after the interview. I would recommend the company to anyone looking for a job.
