I went to an open interview before the store opened a job fair like set-up. Took a quiz when I walked in that qualified candidates to see i what type of person you were and how you would handle certain conflicts. Then after passing quiz, I met with a manager and she interviewed me face to face for about 25 minutes. She told me on the spot what positions in which departments were still hiring. I chose Area Rugs. Then they sent me to the HR table and gave me my hours I would be working for the first few months while we were in training. 9-5 M-F then 9-6, 12-9 or 11-8 different days. Everyone works Sat and Sun. Then I went straight to Concentra for a drug screening. Overall the process took all day. about 11-7pm if you count the time spent waiting to take drug test at Concentra.
