I was asked to come in to fill out an application and told that they may have another opprotunity for me to look at. They did not tell me what the other opprotunity was. In the intial email they got the date wrong of my appoipment to come in, so they clearly were not paying attention. I thought this was going to be an interview and dressed in a 3 piece suit. Instead, when I got there they had me fill out a 6 page hand written application and take a written assesment. I still did not know what the "other opprotunity" was and did not know what to put for the position I was applying for. They insisted I finish the app first and then they would talk to me. When we finally started talking, they pushed a temp job, which was fine, but also indicated there were other temp jobs I could fit that were much closer to where I lived. I asked for more information on those, but the "interviewer" just said she doesn't know as much about those ones and kept pushing the first one. After all of this, they had me fill out a safety in the work place questionaire and began the hiring paperwork, even without reaching out to the company I would be working at first (I still didn't even know the name at this point). She took my 2 forms of ID I happened to have on me and gave me paperwork for a W-2 and direct deposit. I signed the drug test form but did not want to fill out the others without even officially being hired. They next day, she called me asking if I wanted her to give my application to the first company (isn't this what we discussed in person??). She did and she emailed me the next day asking about a time I could speak with the comapy of the phone. I gave her an answer and she did not verify or contact me again until the next morning asking about a different time to call. I responded within 5 minuets and never got a verification or denial again. The time she asked for was not the best for me but I told her I could make it work and I still have never gotten a call, email, or verification of a phone call/interview. 2 business days have passed since our last email. Besides the horrible communication that has/is happening, the office was not plesant, seemed to be in a bad part of town, was stiff, uncomfortable, unfriendly, and not a place I would ever want to work for, even in high school. The lack of professionalism is the worst I have ever seen.
