Interview
Recruiter did not want to give me the time of day because I did not match the qualifications. However, the recruiter should have reviewed my resume prior to reaching out. However, I stood my ground and spoke to my skills and they agreed I deserved a second round. Two weeks went by and I had to check in twice to get follow up, which was already a turn off. The recruiter said the hiring manager wasn’t interested. Not a great candidate experience and would not consider the opportunity again.
They asked a mix of behavioral and experience-based questions that focused on how I’ve handled core HR responsibilities in past roles. Overall, the interview focused on practical, hands-on HR operations work.
