The interview process was the most awkward interview situation I've ever been placed in. Three candidates vying for the same job are all asked to meet in the lobby at the same time to meet the same person. No one knows they're all interviewing for the same role until that single person walks everyone to the same building and you have an opportunity to talk. Then, that single person places each candidate in a different room. The interview panels rotate between the rooms on 30 min intervals. It felt like a bad reality tv show. At the level I was interviewing for, we all knew each other from the industry—SUPER AWKWARD.

The interview process is supposed to be a series of resume reviewing and behavioral questions, which seems simple. In practice, it's so convoluted and awkward that the folks conducting the interviews can't follow the process... so they don't. Be prepared to meet the candidates you're interviewing against right before your interview. Apparently this is a thing they do at Purina. All of you meet at a scheduled time and place, walk across campus together, and then go to your respective interview rooms and wait. This is incredibly awkward if you know the people you're interviewing against, which I did.
