I applied online. I uploaded my resume, and the online system parsed it into essentially an online resume composed of the various informational sections, which you then re-format and proofread.
I was called in to the facility for a first interview, where I filled out standard HR forms, read through and initialed company policies, and also filled out a paper application form, reiterating what I had already filled out online.
The first interview was with the person who would be my boss in the position I applied for. It was a mostly informal interview where we reviewed my resume, I explained my technical background, and we went over what the job responsibilities would be.
The second interview is a long one. It started with a tour of the facility where the product is produced.I then interviewed with 2 people who would be colleagues. We went over technical background. I then interviewed with the HR Manager, who asked about my resume and experience, and asked what my future career goals would be. I then interviewed with my prospective boss again, and we discussed the job requirements, what would make a good employee. I then interviewed with a Manager who would be in charge of some of the office workers who I would support in this position. I was asked standard questions like "tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer".
