I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina U.S. in Jul 2021
Interview
The interview process began with a 1 hour phone interview. After that phone interview with the recruiter, it was determined if I'd move on to the 3, 1-hour interviews (back to back to back) with hiring manager and regional/zone directors.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The 3 hour interview portion was nerve-wracking to say the least. They asked questions to be answered using the S.T.A.R. method. They all centered around similar themes.
"What situation have you been that made you uncomfortable...how did you respond?"
"What adversity have you faced...how did you respond"
They were all very similar so it was hard finding examples, but make sure you have 12 separate examples of ways you can show that you are versatile, creative, flexible, determined, self-motivated. Each manager you interview with will ask you 4 questions.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Nestlé Purina U.S. (Saint Louis, MO) in Aug 2013
Interview
After applying to the position you will be contacted by a Human Resources Assistant, that will conduct a phone interview with a vary basic overview of your Resume. Then you will be asked very specific questions in regards to if you have ever done certain duties and you will have to elaborate in detail.
After passing this you will be invited to have an in person interview at the corporate office in St. Louis, MO. You will most likely be interviewed by 3 different people on the team on a one on one style sit down.
Beware of travel office; if it wasn't for the utmost due diligence I wouldn't have even made it to St. Louis because there is so many people working on one thing.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions were so specific be aware and have an answer even if you haven't had experience doing the specific task. A deer in the headlight stare could happen - for example: Have you ever had any experience developing a budget and would you be able to walk me through this?
Also, if you were a super hero, what super power would you be able to bring to the table?
