A friend, who is also a co-applicant, referred me to Netsuite and asked me if I was interested. I said yes, and he e-mailed my resume to the recruiter who handled him. She immediately relayed to my friend that I come to their office tomorrow for an initial interview. I googled Netsuite office in the Philippines, and went to RCBC Plaza. However, it was only one of their offices, and that location I went to was wrong. I was informed that they have an office near Glorietta and there I went. I was late, but it was okay because the interview isn't the first part of the process. I needed to fill up a biodata first, then there was an exam. First was a non-technical essay type exam. The remaining pages are technical subjects. There were some where I'm not acquainted with like Unix scripting (it was one of the special subjects offered to our course in our university but I took a different one). I glided through other programming questions. I finished before lunch break so they asked me take lunch first before having the interview. About two hours after, the interview started. The recruiter was the one who interviewed me. Regarding the exam, she said that it was to assess which product I'm best suited in. I was placed in the most technical product they have. After her, I was asked to return again for another interview. The next interviews are from the Team Lead of the product I was assigned, the overall product manager, and the director of Netsuite Philippines. The interviews are just few days apart. I was contacted through e-mail and SMS. Unlike my first interview, I was early in my interviews. The interview starts 15-20 minutes after the specified time and lasts for an hour. Generally, they were accommodating and professional. When I asked questions, they answered it competently. What I got from my interviews was Netsuite is a growing company and they're hiring people for that reason. Now I'm on my final stage of application where I'm gathering the necessary requirements. The interviewers all said that the scope of my work would be challenging and may be hard for some, but I'm looking forward to it.
