Interview
Smooth initial email phase, awful onsite. Woman interviewing me was rude, office situated randomly in some house with a cramped staircase, very unwelcoming entrance from a staff member. Initial interview revealed the various lies they claim in their technology, specifically that ML is not used in an area they claimed was on their graduate booklet.
Awkward lunch with the interviewers after the initial interview, then a final interview focusing on textbook memorisation of the internet, showcasing their dated technology.
Overall, a depressing work environment with so much wasted talent. Only positive was one of the other interviewers who took interest in my work.
Took a few days for them to decide contrary to other people. Rejection was followed by no feedback, however a swift reimbursement at least.
Maybe I was missing the spark that’s supposed to be a Netcraft.

The process was quite focused on my cyber-security specific knowledge, and I didn't fare too well in that regard, begin a 1st year computing student. I think this program is targeted at 2nd or 3rd year computing students because of the technical knowledge required to perform well at this role.

Multiple questions asked through email. Only one round if interviews. 2h 30 minutes without any breaks. Various questions from various fields. Interviewers were quite friendly. No coding challenge and all technical questions are at a discussion level.

Had several sets of interviews to gauge both technical and non-technical knowledge about the role, referring to the different parts of Netcraft that interns may be a part of. Was very based in knowledge about networks and network security.
