7 stages of the application process, including psychometric tests which was confusing on some questions, got to stage 3 which was a video interview. Ask for feedback when I was unsuccessful and got none
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do if someone was being difficult on your team, how would you resolve it?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Network Rail (London, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
After CV screening, the second round was completing a set of "games" on an app, set to test your logic skills - an interesting and fun approach in recruitment. The assessment centre was a half-day affair, lots other candidates. Interviewers were very friendly.

Question 1
Technical question about how trains can accelerate faster on the rails
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Network Rail (Milton Keynes, England) in Feb 2019
Interview
Process was a mess. Guess because they changed to a company called Penna. Applied in september 2018, got invited for an sjt which i took and passed and company went mute. Kept asking for what next, no response, no replies to emails. Later was told they are waiting on all applications to come in. Sometime in december i meet a guy at another assessment center who said he has network rails own in a few days time. I mail company back or the penna guys handling the recruitment and they deny saying they're waiting on all results to come in. They kept extending the deadlines. By february they just started badgering for video interviews and wanting to schedule assessment centers asap. At assessment center the company staff seemed quite organized, but i guess the company handling the recruitment was just a joke, poor information disemmination, lack of coordination, no communication, it was just an absolute joke. I attended in 2017 as well and i guess the process was far more organized and transparent when the ambertrack guys or whoever organized it. The penna team seemed a joke to me and because of them i declined my offer cos they gave a very sad image of network rail to me.
