I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Network Rail (Birmingham, England) in Dec 2017
Interview
Relatively straight forward. An application form with CV, followed by a questionnaire. This then led to psychometric questions which were fairly easy. They were on an app game platform that made it less daunting. Passing that led to a video interview. If you pass this, then your application is reviewed in greater detail. Assuming you pass that, its assessment centre time!

Question 1
A variety of situational questions that had multiple parts to them. How would you deal with this situation, why would you do that, how would it make others feel?
The application process included online application, online tests, video interview and assessment center. assessment center comprised of one presentation, one group exercise and interview. Everyone at the assessment center, including the interviewers were friendly which was helpful. Both interviewers wrote everything down. After one week I was informed that I was unsuccessful.
