Initial phone screen plus 3 rounds of interviews, last one with an MD. Questions were fairly simple. No curve balls. Throughout the process, I was told that I was "the front-runner for the role." But on the last interview by the MD, if you want to call it an interview, for no apparent reason he did not ask any questions concerning my knowledge and/or qualifications. Instead, I was castigated, for no reason, for approximately 30mins for applying for the role. Furthermore, it also became clear that he was reading my resume, for the first time, during the meeting. The interview concluded with him then conveying that if they decide to move forward with my candidacy, they will contact me. In retrospect, I should have just ended the interview but during the meeting, I was too surprised to do so.... And yes, I was ghosted, never hearing from them again, after all of the rounds of interviews, the positive feedback, etc.
